With a steep angle of attack, the club cuts into the ground after
making contact with the ball. It then rises out of the ground due to
the higher bounce angle and wider sole.
The SFU Grind is designed with a higher bounce angle and flat
non-cambered sole which helps prevent fat shots. Aggressive
asymmetrical heel and toe relief simulates a wider sole wedge when
the face is square. The versatile relief allows the face to be
opened around the green without increasing the leading edge height.
